Art. 27 - The members of the International Association Missionaries of Political Charity can be dismissed for the following reasons:
- a) be it that they have in a notorious way abandoned the Catholic faith (can. 694);
- b) be it that they have obstinately supported a propagated doctrines that the magisterium of the Church has rebuked (can. 696);
- c) be it that they have caused repeatedly violations of the promises and principles sanctioned by the statute (can. 696);
- d) be it that they have judiciary measures in progress;
- e) be it that they have undertaken an irregular life in contrast to the Gospel and harmful to dignity and to the Christian faith.
Art. 28 - The President with his Council make decisions regarding the dismissal, through collegial vote, after listening to the opinion of the committee of Guarantee. In order that the decision may be valid it is necessary that it be supported by 2/3 of the members of the Council of Presidency. The vote has to be secret.
The right to expose one's reasons in front of the Council of Presidency in order to justify one's very behaviour, is recognised and conceded to the one concerned in the case.
Art. 29 - Members, who are dismissed from the Association or who may abandon it spontaneously, can not demand anything from the Association, for whatever activity they may have done in it nor recuperate the donations they have made to the Association (can. 702).
