CREATIVITY-FAITH-POLITICS

The 4th International Week of Social Church Teaching still takes place in Sant'Antonio al Monte (Rieti) from 5th to 10th October 1993. Creativity-Faith-Politics issue is again addressed:

  • Creativity as a fundamental dimension of man bound philosophically and theologically with his dignity and his rights of freedom;

  • initiative as a value of the Church's social teaching in relation to economic life and development;

  • politics as a place of initiative and participation; faith itself is an expression of human creativity, brought up to the transcendent dimension. Part of man, part of God;

  • between the political act and the act of faith there are deep connections: an act of trust as a triumph over violence and injustice.
